General Statement of Duties

Unbox product in an efficient and safe manner utilizing the appropriate tools and safety equipment.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

Perfoms pick from trays by customer number reviews orders for shipment,determines and assembles the correct types of product to be shipped.

Loads materials into Trailers and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.

Ensures standards of quality set by company are followed for all prepackage inventory as well as par stock.

Operates all warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

Handles all inventory in a manner that reduces exposure to damage.

Wraps pallets with shrink wrap in preparation for out going loads for placement on route delivery trucks.

Load route trucks and semi-trailers with battery-operated forklift and /or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required.

Moves product to storage areas using the proper equipment, efficiently stacks, and stores the product in the appropriate area according to established sequences and procedures.

Ensures items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.

Keeps Warehouse clean at all time, mops, paints and removal of all cardboard boxes to compressor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be able to read English, count accurately, do simple math, and write English legibly.

The ability to operate a forklift and Electric Pallet jacks is a plus.

Ability to follow directions and being careful about detail is extremely important.

Familiarity with general warehouse operations and equipment is beneficial

Must be reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfill obligations

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of standing, and walking for an extended period of time.

• Heavy lifting.

• Occasionally twist/turn, bend, pull/push and reach.

Special Requirements

Must have 6 months - 1 year previous warehouse experience.

Provide authorization for background checks; No violent offenders.

Must take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol tests.
